201.6508.S83: Indeed, it seems history, as a discipline, cannot be opposed to logic, in so far as history is the logical analysis of past events, or at least that events in the world, past present or otherwise, follow certain defined logical principles. Perhaps divine intervention can modify this fact, but when left to purse its own course (I hesitate in saying its natural course, as godly manipulation would actually be more natural than the unmanipulated course) the two coincide acceptably well.
